We hear a familiar song in the club or the restaurant. We listened to this song a thousand times long ago, and the sentimentality of the song really touches your heart. We desperately want to hear it tomorrow, but you can’t remember its name. Also, we look for movies and TV shows to watch, but sometimes they are not easily available or accessible on the browser.
Our Music and Shows Recommendation App based on flutter will help to find songs, movies and TV shows without facing lots of difficulties. Here, we have implemented Utelly API for finding movies and shows. For searching songs, Shazam API is implemented. As everything will be online, the database is not required.
The Utelly API enables to search and query content that will return matching results and the location of where can access them. It provides a way to check where a tv show or movie is available with on-demand services. Shazam API helps people learn about the musical world around them by connecting them to databases that can let them instantly know a song’s name, artist, lyrics, and more.
Considering the anomalies in the existing system computerization of the whole activity is being suggested after the initial analysis. In this system, the user can search for movies or shows they are interested in watching. The system searches for available movies or TV shows and recommends OTT platforms such as Disney + Hotstar, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Lionsgate, and others.
For recommending songs, the user will need to record their voice so the system can recognize the lyrics from the user’s recording and detect the song accordingly. The user can simply search for the song by providing a recording and the system will detect the song, details about the song artist and other relevant information about the song.
This project is written in Dart and is based on the flutter framework. Dart is a programming language that Google developed and keeps up with. A cross-platform framework for building high-performance mobile apps is called Flutter.
