Biometric User Based Audio Player is a desktop application where the respective user’s favorite audio will be played when the user scans his fingerprint. Biometrics refers to technologies that measure and analyze human body characteristics, such as DNA, fingerprints, eye retinas and irises, voice patterns, facial patterns and hand measurements, for authentication purposes. In this System User is authenticated using his fingerprint. User will add the favorite audio during registration and scan his fingerprint. System will store fingerprint minutiae features and his favorite audio into the database. After the user login to the system user can listen to his favorite audio by scanning his fingerprint. The user’s finger pattern is used as an input in order to play the audio. System will authenticate the user by matching the fingerprint minutiae features. As fingerprint minutiae features are unique for different users. It is easier for the system distinguish between different users.
Advantages The user can easily listen his favorite audio by just scanning his fingerprint. The system will authenticate the user through his fingerprint so the user is uniquely identified.	Disadvantages If the user’s finger pattern has some cut or got damaged, the system might not recognize the user.
