This project Human speed detection mainly aims to make the task of decision making simple and accurate. It does this by calculating the speed of human by using a handheld radar gun that points straight towards the person of whose speed is to be detected. Thus this system will prove to be very beneficial in areas of sports as this system will accurately calculate the speed of the participants. For calculating the speed, this system considers the following parameters – time taken to travel from the start point to the end point. For which the system makes use of IR transmitter and receiver. These are kept on either of the road side on the set points. The PIC control unit is responsible for calculating the speed. The speed thus calculated is displayed on the screen.
