Here we propose a “DTMF & RF Dual Controller Based Robot”, which is an advanced type of robotic vehicle which can be controlled by Dual Tone Multi Frequency Based controller (DTMF), Radio Frequency (RF) based controller and is also a stand-alone obstacle avoiding robotic vehicle.
The combine use of RF and DTMF based controlling systems into its design gives it an added advantage of operating under very long range.
• Whenever the robot is under the range of 9 meters, Radio Frequency based controlling remote can be used.
• When the robotic device’s location exceeds beyond the distance of 9m then Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) based controlling system can be used, which works on cellular network.
The robotic circuit consists of a microcontroller based circuitry on a PCB that allows for efficient control and dual control of the vehicle by receiving commands from DTMF as well as RF. This allows for a long range and efficient robot.
