Everyone would like to park their automobiles inside a climate-controlled garage every night. But that’s not possible for everyone. Hail is common during a severe thunderstorm, millions of dollars of damages are caused by such storms, especially with the hailstones dropping on cars and damaging them. Hail Storm can cause dents and dings on vehicles. Research in Hailstorms suggests that there are some parameters that we can use to accurately predict hailstorm and hence prevent the damage caused by it by having protection over the vehicles. Hailstorms are usually accompanied by rain, a sudden drop in temperature, using these two parameters and also the vibration caused when the hail hits the vehicle. Our system uses a vibration sensor, temperature sensor, and a rain sensor to detect these 3 parameters if any one of these parameters is positively detected, our system activates an automated umbrella which will open up and cover the vehicle from the hailstones falling on it.
