| Touch screen based home automation system overcomes the limitations of using traditional use of wall switches to light the house. The system uses the technology of touch screen based control panel that automates the manual process of operating wall switches. For this purpose a touch panel is used to interface it with microcontroller (of 8051 family) on transmitter side that transmits ON/Off signals to receiver. Loads are connected to receiver and interfaced to microcontroller using opto-isolators and triacs. Whenever any portion on touch screen is touched, the loads are turned ON/OFF accordingly through this wireless technology. |
