The project is designed to produce stroboscopic lighting effects for discotheques using LEDs and is cost-effective. The project aims at switching these LEDs on and off at high voltage for less period of time to produce a stroboscopic effect. The project uses an 8051 series microcontroller that drives a MOSFET for cluster of LEDs. The microcontroller is such programmed that it generates LEDs on and off commands at high rate. It is difficult to switch on MOSFET at 5v drive given by microcontroller therefore a transistor is used to interface MOSFET and microcontroller. |
